Giacomo (Jack)
I was born in Ravenna in 2004 and have always felt a strong connection with the natural world. After my graduation from a traditional Classical High School in 2023, I had the opportunity to dedicate time to music—my other great passion— and I spent most of 2024 performing in Belgium.
When I returned to Italy, I began my studies in the forest maintenance field and completed a course on the safe use of chainsaws and brush cutters. My growing interest in protected areas and environmental conservation led me to pursue a certification as Hiking Guide and have been working as one since early 2025 as a member of AIGAE (Italian Association of Nature Guides).
Another activity to which I devote much of my time is speleology. I am a member of the GSFa (Faenza Speleological Group) and of the SSI (Italian Speleological Society). I have taken part in exploratory expeditions to karst systems in Albania, as well as in the gypsum caves of the Vena del Gesso Romagnola.
I work as a guide mainly in the Casentinesi Forests National Park and the Vena del Gesso Romagnola Regional Park, where I have led numerous hikes focused on sharing the natural, historical, and cultural heritage of these areas.
During the AIGAE training course, I became close friends with Stefano Pagliarani and Laura Francesca Priori, and together we founded the Trekking Trio Adventures. In addition to a strong friendship, we share the values that inspire us to do this work. Our diverse skills and interests allow us to complement one another and cover a wide range of areas.
