HIKING REGULATIONS

HEALTH DECLARATION
By accepting these regulations, the Participant declares that they are physically and mentally fit to participate in the hike. The Participant also declares that they have provided the Guide with any relevant information necessary to assess their suitability.

PARTECIPANTS OBLIGATIONS
Participants are required to:

  • Respect departure times and planned itineraries, and accept possible changes made by the Guide;
  • Have the proper clothing and equipment to go on the hike. In case of doubt, participants should ask the Guide before the day of the excursion;
  • Respect people and private property;
  • Follow the planned route without wandering off or leaving the group;
  • Cooperate with the Guide to ensure the success of the event and inform the Guide of any issues that may arise during the excursion;
  • Do not pick flowers, plants, or protected species and comply with all instructions given by the Guide;
  • Refrain from smoking during the hike;
  • Hold on to personal waste until it can be disposed of in appropriate bins.
  • Each Participant is responsible for any risky behavior involving themselves or others, particularly if they act against the advice of the Guide.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Layered clothing is recommended to adjust easily to varying climate conditions. Participants must wear closed footwear with a treaded sole, preferably long trousers, carry a suitable backpack, bring waterproof clothing, and carry an adequate water supply as recommended for the specific hike.

Hats, sunglasses, and trekking poles are recommended. Synthetic fabrics or wool clothing should be preferred over cotton.

Participants without the appropriate equipment may be excluded from the hike even at the very last moment at the Guide’s discretion.

DOGS
Participants who wish to bring their dog on the hike must request the Guide’s authorization when booking. The Guide reserves the right to evaluate the dog’s suitability and, if permission is granted, declines all responsibility for any damage that it may cause to people, animals, or property.

Failure to inform the Guide of the presence of a dog may lead to the Participant’s exclusion from the excursion.

PHOTOGRAPS AND VIDEO RECORDINGS
Participation in the hike implies consent to the use of photographs and video recordings taken during the event for promotional purposes.

MOBILE PHONES
Participants must keep their mobile phones in silent mode for the duration of the excursion.

GPS TRACKS
Participants must not share or send out any GPS locations saved during the hike.

Participation in the excursion implies full and unconditional acceptance of these regulations.
