STEFANO - TrekkingTrioAdventures

I am 47 years old, born in Romagna and bred in Emilia. I have always had a love for agriculture and tractors. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Agricultural Engineering. I live in Marzabotto (Bologna) and work for a major agricultural machinery manufacturer.

I am married to Laura, and we have two daughters, Anna and Chiara.

I am a relatively new hiker. In 2020, during the lockdown, I realized that the Monte Sole Regional Historical Park was right outside my front door. I started walking—and I’ve never stopped.

After walking many kilometers on my own, in 2024 I felt the need to “go back to school”: to broaden my knowledge of nature and to share my passion for hiking with others.

I became a certified Hiking Guide (GAE) in March 2025 and am a member of AIGAE (Italian Association of Environmental Hiking Guides), the Bologna section of CAI (Italian Alpine Club), ANPI Marzabotto, and AGEOP (Association of Pediatric Onco-Hematology Parents, Bologna).

I have a passion for history, I am proudly antifascist and deeply in love with Monte Sole Park, a place I feel I truly belong to.

“bo043k” is a project I started in 2025 to share my passion for hiking and for the Bolognese Apennines: Monte Sole, the Contrafforte Pliocenico, Corno alle Scale, and many other places rich in nature, history, and memories. For anyone willing to approach it with an open heart, walking in nature is an incredibly powerful way to convey emotions and values. This is Stefano’s dream—bo043k!

My natural inclination for teamwork and my found friends Laura Francesca Priori and Giacomo Benini -two fantastic Nature guides with complementary skills- led quite naturally to the creation of the Trekking Trio Adventures. During the 2025 season we have already organized many hikes together in the Contrafforte Pliocenico Nature Reserve, the Monte Sole Historical Park, and the Vena del Gesso Romagnola.

Our goal is simple: to keep doing what we love most, taking people of all ages into nature, making them feel at home, sharing stories, and creating meaningful experiences.
